Commercial Vehicle Driver

The Driver will be responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of vehicles, parts, and personnel for the dealership. This role ensures compliance with traffic laws, company policies, and customer service standards while handling vehicles of the Eicher range and other company assets. Key Responsibilities: Safely drive and transport Eicher vehicles (trucks, buses, or demo vehicles) to and from the dealership, service centers, RTO, and customer locations. Deliver spare parts, documents, or goods as instructed. Ensure proper upkeep and cleanliness of assigned vehicles. Perform routine vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, water, brakes, tires, lights, etc.) before and after trips. Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or damages immediately to the supervisor. Maintain accurate logbooks for trips, mileage, and fuel usage. Assist in loading/unloading parts or materials when required. Follow all traffic rules, safety protocols, and company policies. Provide courteous assistance to customers, colleagues, and external stakeholders. Ensure timely completion of assigned trips and tasks. Qualifications & Skills:Minimum 10th Standard / SSLC Pass. Valid Light/Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving License (LMV/HMV) as applicable. Minimum 5 years of driving experience (preferably with commercial or dealership vehicles). Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Familiarity with local routes, RTO procedures, and transport norms. Good communication and discipline. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or extended shifts if required. Key Competencies:Safety conscious and responsible. Customer service orientation. Time management and punctuality.
