Commercial Officer (Solar EPC)- Procurement

As a Commercial Officer - Supply Chain Management (SCM) in Worli, Mumbai reporting to the Head of SCM, your role involves the following responsibilities: - Source and procure renewable items such as solar modules, MMS, cables, HT panels, Transformers, SCADA, WMS, DWC pipes, Solar BOS items, and other necessary items as per organizational requirements. - Check requisitions from user departments for correctness, completeness, and necessary information for procurement. - Prioritize material requirements based on user needs and process them promptly. - Float inquiries for supplies and services as per Purchase Requisitions from Project Managers, ensuring compliance with specifications. - Analyze quotations and bids from vendors, negotiate terms, and recommend purchases for approval. - Evaluate techno-commercial offers from reputable vendors, ensuring completeness and timely submission. - Develop detailed comparative statements for received offers, ensuring accuracy. - Collaborate with project departments to review and approve procurement decisions. - Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) and Service Orders with clear terms and conditions. - Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of supplies and services meeting all requirements. - Ensure completion and accurate filing of all necessary documentation.
