Job Description

As an Actuarial Colleague at M&G Global Services, your role will involve working with heavy models within the team, setting up assumptions and data on the PALM model coded in RAFM, running the model, and processing output in the required format as per user request form. You will be expected to provide technical assistance to more junior team members and carry out tasks to meet deliverables with high quality and within agreed timelines. Key Responsibilities: - Set up assumptions and data on the PALM model coded in RAFM, run the model, and process output in required format as per user request form - Interact with team members and run requestors to prioritize runs effectively and understand the purpose of the run when required - Maintain an audit trail and version control to demonstrate spreadsheet controls for future enhancements - Perform Model Testing (Operational Acceptance Testing) as per release scope and business requirements - Draft and maintain up-to-date documentation and checklists for implemented processes - Support projects and address BAU queries from other areas of the business - Work with a high degree of accuracy, identify business issues, and understand the impact of proposed solutions - Seek opportunities to develop technical and business understanding Additional Responsibilities: Problem Solving: - Express viewpoints clearly and communicate issues within the team - Develop clear plans, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are met - Maintain knowledge of technical requirements and M&G India's operational framework Accountability: - Liaise with development, business, and systems support teams - Plan and prioritize workload effectively - Deliver on multiple tasks to demanding timescales - Communicate effectively, develop positive relationships, and have a flexible approach to responsibilities Qualifications Required: - A numerical-based degree or Post Graduate qualification - Technical understanding of tools like VBA, Python, Power BI, and relevant Actuarial applications - Strong numerical and Excel skills - Excellent written and verbal communication - Track record of being a fast learner and resourceful problem solver - Strong team player with good problem-solving skills Experience: - Up to 0-3 years of relevant work experience or experience in BFSI industry,
