Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Biomedical Engineer specialized in cold chain and radiology equipment for our healthcare operations. The candidate will be responsible for installation, preventive maintenance, breakdown repair, and calibration of biomedical devices used in cold chain management and radiology departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, preventive & corrective maintenance of:
• Cold Chain Equipment: Blood Bank Refrigerators (BBR), Ice Lined Refrigerators (ILR), Deep Freezers, Mortuary Cabinets, and related devices.
• Radiology Equipment: X-ray, Digital Radiography (DR), C-Arm, Ultrasound (basic handling), and associated imaging equipment.
• Perform routine calibration and performance validation of biomedical equipment.
• Ensure equipment uptime and maintain service history records.
• Conduct troubleshooting and repair at the component level for electronic/biomedical systems.
• Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for spare parts, AMC/CMC, and warranty claims.

Location- Punjab/ Maharashtra

• Ensure compliance with NABL/NABH quality standards and biomedical safety norms.
• Train hospital staff on the proper handling and care of biomedical equipment.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of cold chain biomedical equipment and basic radiology systems.
• Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
• Familiarity with medical equipment documentation, ISO/NABH protocols, and biomedical safety.
• Ability to read schematics and service manuals for fault diagnosis.
• Good communication and coordination skills with vendors and hospital staff.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in biomedical engineering, preferably in hospital / diagnostic center environment.
• Experience handling BBR, ILR, mortuary units, and radiology equipment is mandatory.
• Willing to travel for service calls if required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
