Typically with a Fulltime Masters/Bachelors degree. Degree in Animation will be preferred.

Exceptional candidates may come from varied background but must have a solid Animation/ design portfolio

Profile

Creating storyboards that depict the script and narrative
Drawing in 2D to create sketches, artwork or illustrations and building up accurate detailed frame-by-frame visuals.
Designing models, backgrounds, sets, characters, objects and the animation environment.
Coordinate with clients and internal teams to develop the creative direction, design methodology, strategy, creative execution, animation, and technical requirements.
Demonstrates expertise and acts as a reference point in standard interactive Animation, Graphic design and compositing tools: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop Adobe Flash as well as Intermediate level understanding of After FX, Premiere and 3D Max/Maya.
Strong vfx , Motion Graphics , 2D/3D Compositing skills will be a plus
Experience in classical animation and knowledge in any software related to that is preferred.
Developing the timing and pace of the movements of a character or object during the sequence of images and ensuring they follow the soundtrack and audio requirements.
Deliver training, provide coaching and support to fellow team members
Participate in ideation and conceptual development
Work with Creative Leads, Visual Designers, and 2D/3D compositing Artists and Developers to create animation that meet client specifications.
Should be able to Communicate and explain creative ideas, design rationale, both verbally and visually to the client.
