COE Manager

Your responsibilities:

People & Stakeholder Leadership

• Lead and develop a team of 20+ Finance Controllers and Analysts across multiple countries and business units.
• Set goals, manage performance, and drive capability development in technical, analytical, and digital skills.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, talent development, and succession planning.
• Manage capacity, workload planning, and service-level delivery across all COE Finance activities.
• Build strong partnerships with Country Finance Managers, Global Functions, and other key stakeholders.

Operations & Financial Processes

(The role requires hands-on capability and oversight of FP&A and Controlling activities performed by the team.)

Month-End Closing

• Lead and review month-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely submission of MIS and financial reports.
• Validate data accuracy across various financial tools and reporting system.

Reporting & Analysis

• Analyse absorption and identify root causes.
• Perform standard and ad-hoc reporting on Income Statement and Balance Sheet
• Conduct overdue analysis, follow up on disputes, and ensure timely resolution.
• Support forex hedging analysis and related reporting.
• Prepare T&E reports, cost analysis, and financial deep dives.
• Conduct scenario analysis, including “What-if” and sensitivity modelling.
• Support preparation of financial reporting packages and ensure systematic reconciliation and exception handling.

Controls & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to Group policies, internal controls, and compliance requirements within the COE.
• Maintain documentation, audit trails, and up-to-date SOPs.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Collaborate with Finance teams across Divisions, Areas, and Countries.
• Drive automation, process simplification, and productivity improvements.
• Support evolving business needs while promoting standardization and harmonization across COE operations.

Your Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling or professional qualification (CA, CPA, CIMA, CMA, MBA Finance, M.Com) with 10+ years of experience in FP&A, Controlling, or related finance roles.
• Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience, managing teams of 20+ members, with a proven track record in talent development and performance management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP FICO, preferably S/4HANA.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Business Warehouse/BI tools.
• Experience working with diverse, multi-country teams in a global or shared service environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
