Our team provides document processing services for all inbound clinical documents received via fax from external providers and making them available for provider review.

Role overview: The Coaching and Training Associate plays a crucial role in reviewing medical records, delivering training sessions, conducting training needs analyses informed by audits, and collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams across multiple geographies. This position is key to maintaining the integrity of clinical documentation and fostering continuous improvement initiatives. Effective communication and strong collaborative skills are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training & Development (50%)
    • Develop comprehensive training materials focused on document classification and quality standards.
    • Facilitate training sessions to educate team members on best practices and updated protocols.
    • Lead new hire onboarding and provide ongoing training reinforcement to build skills and knowledge.
    • Utilize audit data and key performance indicators to tailor and continuously improve training programs.
    • Conduct training needs analysis to identify gaps and design targeted learning interventions.
  • Document Review & Quality Assurance (30%)
    • Conduct detailed reviews of medical records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with clinical guidelines.
    • Perform quality audits to assess documentation standards and correctness.
    • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members based on audit outcomes to enhance performance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve documentation issues and optimize workflows.

  • Process Improvement & Collaboration (20%)
    • Participate in initiatives aimed at streamlining workflows and improving clinical documentation quality.
    • Contribute to process analysis and quality improvement project design.
    • Manage practice escalations and work closely with stakeholders to address concerns.
    • Support other business lines as needed based on organizational priorities.
    • Engage in professional development activities and attend relevant meetings.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in medical record review, quality assurance, training, or a related area.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
