Roles and responsibilities:

As per CBSE Teachers Handbook Chapters 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, 15, and not limited to the following:

• Ensure Safe, Uplifting, & Noble (SUN) learning environment
• Ensure anger-free, corporal punishment free, stress-free learning environment
• Create lesson plans that are student-centric, STEAM-based, inquiry-led, and activity-oriented
• Facilitate interactive classroom sessions that encourage active learning and collaboration
• Conduct formative assessments of students on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as required
• Prepare assessment reports, manage online grading, and track attendance systematically
• Maintain classroom decorum and communicate with parents regularly regarding student progress and academic counselling
• Deliver quality education using smartboards, educational apps, LMS, and blended learning techniques and create engaging digital content and maintain all records and stock registers
• Comply sincerely with Principals instructions and coordinate effectively with academic staff
• Plan, design, and conduct engaging art and craft sessions for students across different grades.
• Introduce students to various art techniques, media, and forms including drawing, painting, sculpture, clay modeling, collage, and craftwork.
• Encourage creativity, self-expression, and artistic experimentation in a structured and supportive environment.
• Prepare students for school exhibitions, art competitions, and inter-school cultural events.
• Maintain and manage art materials, supplies, and equipment, ensuring a safe and organized workspace.
• Identify and mentor students with exceptional artistic abilities for advanced training and recognition.
• Discharge all academic duties beyond the curriculum teaching/training/coaching

Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts or Crafts with at least 55% marks from a recognized university.
  OR
• B.Ed. in Fine Arts from a Regional Institute of Education (NCERT) or a recognized institution.
• Candidates with a Master’s in Fine Arts (MFA) or specialized certifications in visual or performing arts will be preferred.
• Freshers with CBSE education/minimum 2 years of teaching or coaching experience in art education, preferably in a CBSE school.
