Roles & Responsibilities
As per CBSE Teachers Handbook Chapters 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, 15, and not limited to the following:
- Ensure Safe, Uplifting, & Noble (SUN) learning environment
- Ensure anger-free, corporal punishment free, stress-free learning environment
- Create lesson plans that are student-centric, STEAM-based, inquiry-led, and activity-oriented
- Facilitate interactive classroom sessions that encourage active learning and collaboration
- Conduct formative assessments of students on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as required
- Prepare assessment reports, manage online grading, and track attendance systematically
- Maintain classroom decorum and communicate with parents regularly regarding student progress and academic counselling
- Deliver quality education using smartboards, educational apps, LMS, and blended learning techniques and create engaging digital content
- Comply sincerely with Principals instructions and coordinate effectively with academic staff
- Design and deliver engaging lessons and projects on topics related to Artificial Intelligence, Coding, Robotics, and ICT fundamentals for primary and middle school students.
- Teach programming languages and environments such as Python, C++, Java, Scratch, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript, including their applications in AI and robotics.
- Encourage problem-solving, logical thinking, and innovation through real-world, project-based learning
- Maintain and manage computer labs, robotics kits, and related tools, ensuring safety, organization, and functionality and maintain all records and stock registers
- Collaborate with faculty members to integrate AI, technology, and computational thinking into other academic subjects.
- Prepare and mentor students for inter-school robotics challenges, coding competitions, hackathons, and exhibitions
- Discharge all academic duties beyond the curriculum teaching/training/coaching
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical field such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Certifications in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, or specific platforms (such as FANUC, ABB, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages including Python, C++, and Java is essential.
- Candidates with additional certifications in AI, Coding, Robotics, or ICT Education (from NPTEL, Coursera, Google, Microsoft, or similar platforms) will be preferred.
- Freshers with CBSE education/minimum 2 years of teaching or professional experience in coding, robotics, or AI-related fields in a CBSE school
