CNC Programmer

A CNC programmer should be creative, perceptive, detail-oriented and an active learner. Top candidates will have exceptional critical thinking, time management and communication skills, an ability to handle complex machines and tools, and a willingness to lead by example in the workplace.

CNC Programmer Responsibilities:

• Program and set up of CNC lathes.
• Optimize programs for cycle time reduction, tool life, and maximum OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
• Interpret engineering drawings and ensure precision in part production.
• Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining or programming issues independently.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet delivery and quality targets.
• Maintain machine maintenance schedules and ensure safe working practices.
• Analyzing information and finding the best solutions to problems.
• Maintaining clear and honest communication at all times.
• Keeping the work environment safe.
• Learning and applying the latest relevant knowledge to the work.

CNC Programmer Requirements:

• Deep understanding of tool selection, G-code programming, and machine capabilities.
• Experience in a production environment with a focus on maximizing throughput and efficiency.
• Ability to work independently, read technical drawings, and maintain high-quality standards.
• Problem-solving mindset with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
• 1-2 years’ experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ethical behavior.
• Attention to detail and self-motivation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Jamnagar, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• CNC programming: 1 year (Preferred)
