Job Description

As a CNC Lathe Operator in our company, your role will involve understanding and interpreting engineering drawings to set up, operate, and program CNC Lathe machines with Fanuc controls according to job requirements. Your key responsibilities will include: - Selecting appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for various materials. - Editing or modifying CNC programs to enhance accuracy, productivity, and finish quality. - Measuring and inspecting finished components using vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, and other measuring instruments. - Ensuring proper machine setup, alignment, and calibration before commencing operations. - Maintaining cleanliness, following 5S, safety, and preventive maintenance practices. - Recording daily production reports and maintaining documentation. - Understanding G-code / M-code programming language and being able to modify programs as needed. The qualifications required for this role include proficiency in CNC Lathe operations, knowledge of Fanuc controls, experience in tool selection and program editing, and familiarity with measuring instruments. Additionally, understanding of G-code / M-code programming language is essential.
