Job Description

The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts, tools, and components according to specified blueprints and production schedules. This position ensures the machines run efficiently and accurately, while also performing quality checks and minor maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Setup & Operation:
  • Set up CNC machines according to the specifications outlined in production orders, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Operate CNC machines to produce parts, ensuring they meet tight tolerances and quality standards.
  • Load raw materials (metal, plastic, or other materials) into the CNC machine.
  • Input program codes (G-code) into the CNC machines or adjust existing programs as necessary.
  • Monitoring & Adjusting Machines:
  • Monitor machine operation during production runs and adjust settings as required for optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine or program errors, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Inspect parts for quality and accuracy, making necessary adjustments to the machine to correct defects.
  • Quality Control:
  • Perform regular inspections of parts using tools like calipers, micrometers, or coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
  • Conduct visual inspections to ensure that parts meet the required standards.
  • Document inspection results and report any defects or issues to the supervisor.
  • Maintenance & Cleaning:
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
  • Keep tools and machines clean and organized for optimal functionality.
  • Report major machine malfunctions or needed repairs to the maintenance team.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Communicate with other team members, supervisors, and engineers to ensure production goals are met.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Suggest improvements to processes or procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Documentation & Record Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate records of machine setups, production runs, and maintenance tasks.
  • Complete work orders, production logs, and inventory tracking as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or training in CNC operation is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator or similar role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,600.00 - ₹16,599.00 per month
