1. Read and interpret PCRs and engineering drawings before starting machining operations.
2. Set up CNC lathe machines accurately, ensuring correct tooling and parameters.
3. Operate CNC lathe machines to perform turning, boring, threading, and other machining operations.
4. Monitor machines during operations and ensure quality of finished products.
5. Record labour hours and maintain accurate production documentation.
6. Top up oils, coolant, and perform daily preventive maintenance on machines according to the checklist.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including machines and workbenches.
8. Identify and suggest improvements for tooling and machining processes.
9. Report any Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) to the Assistant Production Manager or Workshop Foreman immediately.
10. Follow safe work practices, QHSE policies, and environmental guidelines at all times.
11. Perform other assignments as required by supervisors.
1. Meet daily and weekly production schedules.
2. Ensure smooth, efficient, and uninterrupted machine operations.
3. Maintain product quality and minimize rework or scrap.
4. Ensure the workplace remains tidy, safe, and hazard-free.
5. Report unsafe acts or environmental concerns to supervisors.
