CMM Operator

Role Overview: As a CMM Operator at our company located in Chennai, you will be responsible for operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure precise measurements of components. Your role will involve interpreting and analyzing data, performing quality inspections, and preparing detailed reports. Additionally, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and calibrating CMM equipment, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with the quality control team to uphold high standards of product quality. Your attention to detail and adherence to industry standards and safety protocols will be key in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Operate and program CMM machines efficiently - Interpret engineering drawings and apply knowledge of GD&T - Conduct quality inspection processes and analyze data - Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment - Troubleshoot issues as they arise - Collaborate with the quality control team and other departments - Ensure adherence to industry standards and safety protocols Qualifications: - Proficiency in operating and programming CMM machines - Knowledge of GD&T and ability to read engineering drawings - Experience with quality inspection processes and data analysis - Basic understanding of calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CMM equipment - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements - Ability to work collaboratively with teams - Knowledge of industry standards and safety protocols - Relevant certification or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Control, or related field preferred - Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus,
