Key Responsibilities:

• Create and deliver cinematic camera blocking, composition, and scene layout based on storyboard/previz input.
• Interpret scripts and storyboards to establish camera setups, scene transitions, and spatial continuity.
• Collaborate with the animation, lighting, and production design teams to ensure consistency and narrative flow.
• Use CMM tools to create accurate scene measurements and visual setups.
• Ensure all layout elements (characters, props, environments) are correctly placed and animated within the scene.
• Implement and iterate on feedback from directors and supervisors efficiently.
• Maintain clear documentation and version control for all layout files.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Layout Artist or similar role in animation & VFX.
• Proficient in industry-standard tools such as Maya, Blender, or similar 3D software.
• Strong understanding of cinematic principles, camera operation, and storytelling through visuals.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in both animated and live-action projects.
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine or other real-time rendering tools.
• Background in film, animation, or visual communication.
• Understanding of technical constraints in production pipelines.
