Cloud Support Engineer

As a Cloud Support Engineer (24x7), your role involves providing continuous technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-based infrastructure, platforms, and services. Your primary goal will be to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and prompt resolution of customer issues at all hours. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and maintain cloud systems round-the-clock to ensure availability and performance. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, networking, security, deployment, and application performance. - Provide technical support through various channels (email, chat, phone) and handle incidents, change requests, and escalations by collaborating with cross-functional teams. - Assist clients with cloud service onboarding, configuration, migration, root cause analysis, and recommendations to prevent recurrence. - Contribute to knowledge base articles, documentation, and best practices for internal and customer use. - Participate in the on-call rotation, work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, and stay updated with cloud technologies and best practices. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience. - Experience supporting cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with proficiency in virtualization, networking, and security. - Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Hands-on experience with system administration (Linux, Windows), scripting, and automation tools. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and handle tasks independently. This role requires engineers to be available for shift-based work, covering day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts to ensure uninterrupted support for customers globally.
