Cloud Infrastructure Architect

As the Cloud Infrastructure Architect at Avaloq, your primary responsibility will be to design cloud infrastructure solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You will be involved in responding to Requests for Information (RfIs) and Requests for Proposals (RfPs) and delivering impactful presentations to C-Level executives, showcasing the value and benefits of Avaloq banking solutions running on OCI. Your key responsibilities will include architecting scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure solutions on OCI, leading the preparation and submission of RfIs and RfPs, developing and delivering high-impact presentations to C-Level executives, providing technical guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams, and staying updated with the latest OCI features and best practices to continuously enhance cloud infrastructure solutions. Ideally, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with extensive experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and cloud architecture. A proven track record in managing RfIs and RfPs, strong presentation skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role. Desired skills include a deep understanding of cloud architecture principles and OCI services, technical writing abilities for creating detailed responses to RfIs and RfPs, proficiency in developing and delivering compelling presentations, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Fluency in English is required for effective communication with clients and stakeholders. Additionally, having an Oracle Cloud Architect Certification or relevant cloud certifications would be a plus. The position may involve up to 25% travel for client meetings and professional engagements.
