We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join our team. The Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our organization's cloud-based systems and strategies. This role involves understanding our cloud needs, creating and implementing cloud systems, and overseeing their functionality.

Location : Chennai (WFO)

Experience : 8+ Years

Shift : 5.30 PM to 2.30 AM (US shift)

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
• Assess project or business requirements and recommend suitable cloud solutions.

Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to the cloud.

• Ensure the security of cloud-based systems by implementing appropriate controls and measures.
• Design, develop, and manage robust, secure, scalable, highly available, and dynamic solutions on the cloud.
• Evaluate and implement cloud strategies and architectures.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement scalable cloud-based applications.
• Optimize the efficiency of cloud services by monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with service providers.
• Plan and implement data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and technologies, recommending updates and upgrades when necessary.
• Create and maintain documentation of cloud architectures, operations, and workflows.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role.
• Microsoft Azure Virtual Infrastructure experience
• In-depth knowledge of cloud-based systems like Azure, exposure to Google Cloud Platform will be an advantage.
• Solid understanding of network operations, software development, and information security.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
