Cloud Architect

You will be responsible forCollaborating with internal and external technical teamsDefining and detailing the scope of technical requirements into solution architecture and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural standpoint.Helping to resolve Performance/Technical issues during implementations and migrationsAssessing customer business challenges and offering solution to address business needsProvide guidance to customers on architecture and implementation (i.e. cloud migrations, messaging modernization, integration and data modernization,AI ) on IBM’s Cloud Paks and observability products.Review peers' solutions and designs, including architecture and integration pipeline, to offer suitable guidance for performance optimization.Assist internal teams and IT partners by suggesting solutions that minimize and/or manage risk.Automate and optimize processes as needed to configure and support use cases like migrate solutions and create secure solutions Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Bachelor's Degree Required technical and professional expertise Understanding of entreprise microservices architectures and implementationsExcellent troubleshooting, follow-through, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.Experience in installing and deploying solutions to Kubernetes (OpenShift preferred)Can manage multiple customer accounts and projects simultaneouslyKnowledge of hybrid-cloud software implementations, SaaS / IaaS / PaaS and cloud applicationsAbility to work in a high-pressure environmentAbility to communicate complex solutions both verbally and in writingAbility to translate requirements and design to implementation and guide the team to deliveryHands on experience in Linux packages porting, Container technologies, Kubernetes, Dockers, Virtualization Management, REST API, Catalog Services, Micro Services,DevOps CICD Jenkins , Travis skillsExperience with python/java/c programmingKnowledge of Observability Solutions and toolsCloud native development and deployment.A minimum of three years of experience in designing software solutions with cloud-native computing technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, containers, and Red Hat OpenShift.Abilitity to contribute and guide team in the development cycle , which includes Development, unit tests , CICD , functional and performance tests and all applicable stages.Hands-on with technology and being able create demo assets and showcase to customers, conduct PoCs, run enablement sessionsAbility to interlock, understand and engage with various senior executives of key BUs within IBM to create value prop, content and assets to drive skills, capabilities and expertise for client engagements Preferred technical and professional experience At least 5 years of experience in deploying, configuring, and managing enterprise microservices solutions.Experience and/or knowledge of resolving Performance/Technical issues during implementations, migrations, and system assessments.Hands-on deployment experience with cloud solutions such as PKS, Google GKE, or AWS EKS is a plus.
