Job Description

As an experienced Doctor joining the QA team in a Healthcare Information System (HIS) software development environment, your role will involve reviewing, analyzing, and validating clinical workflows within the HIS software. You will ensure software functionality aligns with medical best practices and regulatory compliance. Additionally, you will conduct end-user testing from a clinician's perspective to identify potential usability issues. You will collaborate with the development and QA teams to define test scenarios and cases. Your insights into medical terminologies, diagnoses, treatments, and clinical decision support systems within the application will be valuable. You will also participate in requirement analysis and design discussions to bridge the gap between medical professionals and software developers. Furthermore, you will assist in troubleshooting and verifying bugs related to clinical functionalities and offer feedback on user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) improvements from a doctor's perspective. Supporting training and documentation by preparing clinical user guides and test cases will also be part of your responsibilities. Qualifications & Skills: - Education: MBBS, BDS, BDMS, or equivalent medical degree. - Experience: 2+ years of clinical practice experience (preferred). Exposure to healthcare IT systems, EMR/EHR software, or HIS applications is an advantage. - Strong understanding of hospital workflows, including OPD, IPD, radiology, laboratory, pharmacy, and billing. - Ability to analyze software usability and functionality from an end-user perspective. - Basic knowledge of software testing principles is a plus. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to work with technical teams.,
