Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist Acute Pain Service – GGH /QEUH – rotational post

Full time position.This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a team of dedicated and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialists across NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (GG&C). The post holder will provide expert care and support to patients experiencing acute pain, working collaboratively within a dynamic and supportive environment.

We are inviting applications from nurses who meet the following criteria:

• Previous experience in Pain Services at Band 6 level
• Non-Medical Prescribing qualification (Essential requirement)
• Proven advanced clinical skills and sound clinical judgement
• Excellent communication and team-working abilities
• Strong commitment to person-centred care and flexibility to support service needs across both sites
  

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expert clinical assessment and pain management
• Support and educate patients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement
• Promote evidence-based practice within the acute pain setting
