About the Role

Client Servicing Head North

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Leadership & Stewardship

  • Serve as the agency's brand expert, with in-depth knowledge of brand performance, category dynamics, and business challenges.
  • Guide and evaluate creative solutions to ensure alignment with brand objectives.
  • Prioritize projects effectively across multiple brand campaigns and manage pressure from clients with composure.

2. Creative Excellence

  • Champion outstanding creative work that delivers results.
  • Inspire and collaborate with creative teams to develop and refine breakthrough ideas.
  • Organize regular brand appreciation and knowledge-sharing sessions with clients to enhance strategic alignment.

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Build trust and long-term relationships with clients.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, tailoring proposals and presentations to client sensibilities and organizational dynamics.
  • Facilitate smooth communication between internal teams and client stakeholders.

4. Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and organic growth from existing accounts.
  • Lead pitches and acquisition initiatives alongside senior management.
  • Prioritize opportunities based on business potential and resource availability.

5. Communication Strategy & Effectiveness

  • Document and evaluate brand communication work, showcasing campaign effectiveness through case studies and data.
  • Provide strategic communication briefs to guide campaign development.

6. Financial Oversight

  • Manage all financial elements of client accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, billing, and cost control.

7. Organizational Impact

  • Contribute to agency performance through client revenue growth, cost efficiencies, and new business wins.
  • Track key performance metrics and ensure delivery of measurable business value.

8. Presentation Leadership

  • Prepare and deliver strategic and creative presentations that resonate with client objectives.
  • Represent the agency in key meetings and pitch discussions.

9. External Partnerships

  • Maintain strong working relationships with key vendors, media partners, and third-party collaborators to deliver best-in-class solutions.

10. Team Leadership & Coaching

  • Mentor, train, and lead a team of client servicing professionals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback for individual growth.
  • Ensure timely completion of documentation such as job status reports, MOMs, and follow-ups.

11. Talent Development

  • Foster a high-performance culture by recognizing talent and promoting ownership within the team.
  • Facilitate individual development plans and ensure skill enhancement through consistent training.

12. Knowledge Management

  • Share brand/category insights and best practices across teams to uplift the agency's collective expertise.

Professional Skills Required

  • Creative Evaluation:

    Strong ability to assess and refine creative work; mentors juniors on improving creative sensibility.
  • Negotiation:

    Skilled in balancing client expectations and agency deliverables while safeguarding profitability.
  • Coaching & Leadership:

    Proven ability to develop team capabilities and drive performance through mentorship.
  • Presentation & Communication:

    Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; persuasive and confident communicator.
  • Interpersonal Effectiveness:

    Navigates internal dynamics smoothly and fosters cross-functional collaboration across teams and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 9-10 years of experience at a mid to senior level in brand management and client servicing within a reputed advertising/marketing agency, real estate preferred.
  • Proven track record in handling large-scale brand campaigns and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of ATL/BTL/360 marketing solutions.
  • Experience in handling major clients in North India market.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, or a related field.
