Job Description

Required skills:

Three-dimensional shape interpretation of 2-D sketches.
Surface building skills and familiarity with continuity, lead-in, curvature plots, crown, acceleration and a feel” for design. Should have worked min 2 programs and delivered.
The ability to understand and work to engineering constraints, the scaffold and guidelines.
New Product Development from sketch/Rendering to Release.
Design and development of Class A-Surface data from concept to final design as per the design and manufacturing requirements within the timeline.
Understanding Auto Studio language and terminologies to communicate effectively with the Studio Design team.
Good at capturing the important Design Intent of sketch/Rendering provided by the design studio.
Participating in design review meetings and provide solutions.
Identification and resolution of design related issues during development till release.
Knowledge of various manufacturing, assembly and feasibility requirements.
Build high quality surfaces with appropriate patch network.
Sound Knowledge in surface quality checks to ensure high quality (Highlight, PTC) surface release.
Demonstrate good customer and cross functional relationships.
Problem solving skills / Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Self-motivated and enthusiastic & Knowledge in MS office tools.
