Civil Safety Officer

Position Overview

• Uphold and enforce safety standards on civil construction sites, ensuring regulatory compliance and minimizing accident risk.
• Report to the Project Manager or HSE supervisor, coordinating with contractors, engineers, and site staff to maintain a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
• Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety policies and training programs.
• Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents, perform root cause analysis.
• Maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Keep detailed records of inspections, incidents, training.
• Ensure proper safety infrastructure (first-aid, fire extinguishers, evacuation plans).
• Maintain awareness of relevant safety regulations and codes, including BOCW Act, OSHA, local labour laws.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional certifications in Industrial / Commercial Safety.
• Minimum 1-2 of experience as a Safety Officer.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
