Job Summary:
A Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, supervising, and maintaining infrastructure projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, dams, and water supply systems. The role ensures projects are safe, cost-effective, and completed according to engineering standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of civil engineering projects
Prepare drawings, layouts, and technical reports
Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies
Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations
Estimate project costs, materials, and timelines
Supervise construction activities and coordinate with contractors and architects
Monitor project progress and resolve technical issues
Perform quality control and inspections at project sites
