Description
As a Project Manager (Civil Engineer), you will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of construction projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will include: - Reviewing and finalizing project plans, schedules, resource requirements, and budgets in coordination with the management team. - Coordinating with consultants, architects, structural engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth execution. - Managing and supervising site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors. - Monitoring project progress, cost, and timelines using project management tools and reports. - Implementing quality control and safety procedures across all activities. - Handling site-level challenges such as material delays, labour issues, or design discrepancies. - Approving daily reports, progress updates, billing quantities, and site documentation. - Attending regular review meetings with clients and management to provide project updates. - Ensuring statutory compliance, including labour laws, safety norms, and environmental standards. - Guiding and mentoring junior engineers to ensure team productivity. Qualifications Required: - B.E. / B. Tech in Civil Engineering (Masters Degree or PMP certification is an added advantage). - Proven track record in handling medium to large-scale projects independently. - Excellent knowledge of construction methods, contract management, and project planning tools (MS Project / Primavera). - Strong leadership and team management capabilities. - Effective communication and client handling skills.
