Civil Engineer (Quantity Surveyor)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with 1-2 years of experience specializing in Quantity Surveying. This is a full-time, office-based role where you will be a crucial part of our project planning and cost management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil site workflows and a sharp eye for detail, ensuring our projects are delivered within budget and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to identify cost components.
• preparation of labour contract and managing onsite expenses.
• Track project expenses, monitor budget adherence, and prepare regular cost reports for management.
• Verify and certify contractor and subcontractor bills based on work progress.
• Maintain accurate records of project variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Coordinate with the site execution team to get progress updates and clarify technical queries from the office.

Qualifications and Skills

Education: A B.E. / B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering is required.

Experience: 1-2 years of proven experience in a quantity surveying role within the construction industry.

Technical Skills:

• Excellent proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of estimation, costing, and BOQ preparation.
• Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings.
• Solid understanding of the end-to-end workflow of a civil construction site.
