Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Design Coordination: Assist in the development of detailed project plans, timelines, and cost estimates. Review architectural and structural drawings and provide technical input. Coordinate with architects, consultants, and regulatory bodies for approvals and compliance. Site Management: Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to plans and specifications. Monitor construction progress and report daily/weekly updates to the Project Manager. Ensure proper execution of civil works including earthworks, foundations, RCC structures, masonry, and finishing works. Quality Assurance & Control: Implement quality control procedures and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Conduct inspections and testing of materials and workmanship. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of tests, approvals, and inspections. Procurement & Resource Management: Coordinate with the procurement team for timely delivery of materials and equipment. Monitor and control usage of resources like labor, materials, and machinery. Team Coordination: Work closely with subcontractors, site engineers, and skilled labor teams. Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safety briefings are held regularly. Solve day-to-day technical issues on-site promptly. Reporting: Prepare and submit regular progress reports, cost tracking updates, and project documentation. Flag potential risks or delays to the management with recommended mitigation strategies.
