Civil Engineer Internship

As a Civil Engineering Project Support, your role involves assisting civil engineers with various tasks related to infrastructure design and planning. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing project support by assisting with administrative duties and supporting the design and planning of infrastructure, roadways, and other structures. - Helping with design and drafting tasks such as drafting blueprints, preparing maps, and creating visual aids and 3D models using design software like AutoCAD. - Conducting fieldwork by performing site visits to collect data, conduct inspections, monitor construction progress, and ensure proper installation of materials. - Handling documentation tasks such as preparing reports, compiling data, reviewing technical documents, and assisting with the submission of permit applications. - Engaging in research and analysis activities by analyzing survey reports, site data, and project requirements to support engineering decisions and problem-solving. - Collaborating effectively with team members, participating in meetings, and communicating with senior engineers and other project stakeholders. Qualifications required for this role include: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution. - Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil3D) and other design or data analysis tools. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and team collaboration. - Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and the capacity to perform simple calculations and analyze technical information. - Eagerness to learn, a strong work ethic, good time management skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Please note that this position is available as Full-time, Permanent, or Internship with a contract length of 6 months. The work location is in person.
