Civil Engineer

As a Quality Assurance & Quality Control Engineer for construction works, your role involves reviewing project plans and drawings, coordinating with various stakeholders, preparing work schedules, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Your key responsibilities include: - Reviewing project plans & drawings for structural and finishing elements - Coordinating with architects, MEP engineers, consultants, and contractors for smooth integration of activities - Assisting in work schedules, activity sequencing, and resource planning - Supervising reinforced concrete work, steel structures, formwork, and shuttering operations - Ensuring execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards - Conducting and verifying bar bending schedules (BBS) and concrete mix designs - Monitoring quality of materials and their usage - Checking line, level, and plumb of structural elements - Supervising plastering, painting, tiling, waterproofing, false ceiling, joinery, and facade works - Coordinating finishing works with MEP installations - Preparing mock-ups/samples and getting approvals before bulk execution - Resolving site execution issues and defects - Implementing and monitoring QA/QC plans - Conducting regular site inspections and testing - Maintaining checklists, reports, and records for quality assurance - Acting as a bridge between clients, consultants, and contractors - Supporting handover documentation and project schedules - Ensuring compliance with safety norms and regulations - Contributing to team effort and maintaining project data Your performance will be evaluated based on criteria such as timely delivery of inspection reports, number of quality checks/inspections, closure of non-conformance reports, implementation of quality assurance procedures, customer complaints, and compliance with guidelines.
