CIVIL DRAFTSMAN

LOCATION : TRIVANDRUM, INDIA

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Draftsman to join our back-office team supporting an Oman-based construction company. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in preparing accurate civil drawings for building construction projects and must be proficient in CAD drafting tools with a solid understanding of construction standards and detailing.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil drawings, plans, sections, and elevations for building construction projects.
• Develop structural, architectural, and site layout drawings based on design inputs provided by engineers.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, Oman construction codes, and project specifications.
• Modify and update drawings based on engineer/consultant feedback.
• Maintain organized drawing files, documentation, and revision records.
• Coordinate with engineers, QS teams, and project managers for clarifications and timely output.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and documentation for project handover.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all drafting activities.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting tools.
• Good understanding of building construction practices, detailing, and civil engineering basics.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Excellent drafting speed with high accuracy.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced back-office environment.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working with Gulf / Oman projects (advantage).
• Experience in drafting for multi-storey buildings, commercial projects, and residential developments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
