Civil AutoCAD Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities: Manage the planning and design phases of civil engineering projects. Oversee all stages of the project life cycle, from preliminary layouts to final engineering designs. Conduct surveys of new construction sites and assess the condition of existing structures. Design and suggest improvements to CAD (computer-aided design) drawings. Perform cost estimations and prepare project budgets (added advantage). Develop work schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and supervise junior engineers, supervisors, workers, technicians, and contractors. Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a senior civil engineer on similar types of projects. Proficient in civil engineering project management and highly skilled in CAD. Strong leadership, project management, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills. It is mandatory for candidates to be capable of visiting sites, conducting surveys, returning to the office, and independently preparing their own drawings hence, proficiency in Auto CAD is essential.
