Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization (e.g., Institution of Civil Engineers, UK) 8-12+ years of exp in the Design of Roads, Streets, Highways, and motorways using ORD software and Civil 3D software. Should have worked on international projects on the GDC platform. Good communication skills, and able to work well independently at times. Able to see the “bigger picture” and take a birds-eye view of projects Confident, with the ability to work either independently or as part of a team. Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure. Accountability for assigned work. Accuracy & precision of work. Willingness to learn and develop. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop civil engineering projects in accordance with nominated technical guideline documents. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Utilize industry-standard software for civil design and drafting. Prepare detailed design documentation and technical reports. Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards and regulations. Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise Need to have excellent communication skills ion English as the role requires attending project meetings understanding scope and explaining to other team members who are junior. Managing junior team members who work closely with you while you lead on projects. Managing work loads and reporting on deliverables and updating head office in Australia.. Qualifications: Minimum bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related field, however masters preferred. 6+ years of experience in civil design, with a focus on infrastructure projects. Proficiency in civil design software and must be well versed with design concepts. Must have used either of the following softwares extensively: Civil 3D, MicroStation or 12D. Strong understanding of Australian engineering standards (preferred but not necessary). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
