As Applications Development Group Manager at our company, your role involves leading a team to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team. Your main objective will be to drive applications systems analysis and programming activities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Ensure effective management of critical Platform roll-out with a key focus on excellent client experience - Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and quality delivery - Lead the development, BA/PM & Tech team in Mumbai to achieve established goals and handle personnel duties for the team - Ensure compliance with internal, exchange & regulatory requirements for Futures trading and clearing Business - Provide strategic influence over resources, budget management, and planning while monitoring end results - Define standards and ensure essential procedures are followed - Integrate applications development knowledge with overall technology function to achieve goals - Evaluate situations based on analysis of facts and make sound decisions - Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions and communicate with external parties as necessary - Assess risks in business decisions while safeguarding the firm's reputation and assets **Qualifications:** - 10+ years of Application development experience - Experience in Futures or Cash Equities Trading platform is a must - Strong Technical skill in troubleshooting system performance - Vendor management experience - Experience in applications development and management - Experience managing global technology teams - Working knowledge of industry practices and standards - Demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication In addition to the above, you are required to have a Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience, with a Masters degree preferred.
