Cinematographer Intern (DOP)

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and creative Cinematographer Intern to join our in-house content and production team. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in visual storytelling, a good eye for detail, and a desire to learn the craft of cinematography in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. Responsibilities: Assist the cinematographer and creative team during pre-production, shoots, and post-production. Help in developing shot lists, framing setups, and basic storyboarding for short-form and long-form content. Support in setting up and operating professional camera equipment, including DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, and accessories. Assist in lighting setups for interviews, reels, outdoor shoots, and behind-the-scenes content. Capture BTS footage and additional angles for branded shoots. Work closely with the editor and content team to ensure smooth handoff of footage and assets. Learn and apply basic principles of cinematography such as composition, exposure, and camera movement. Keep production gear organized, well-maintained, and shoot-ready. Stay curious about industry trends and new-age content styles, and contribute fresh ideas. Qualifications: Recently completed a degree/diploma in Film Production, Media, Communication, or a related field. A keen interest in cinematography and video content creation. Familiarity with basic camera operations and a willingness to learn more. Enthusiasm to work on a variety of formats - from sit-down interviews to fast-paced reels. A proactive mindset, strong work ethic, and ability to take feedback constructively. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a creative team. Ability to adapt to changing schedules and multitask in a dynamic content environment.
