Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chinese Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing authentic Chinese cuisine, including regional specialties such as Cantonese, Szechuan, Hunan, or Northern Chinese dishes. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes in line with our standards and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook authentic Chinese dishes, including appetizers, entrees, soups, and specialty items. Use traditional cooking techniques such as stir-frying, steaming, deep-frying, and braising. Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of all dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking stations. Monitor food stock and ingredients; notify supervisor of shortages. Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times. Assist with menu development and introduce seasonal or new dishes when appropriate. Coordinate with kitchen staff and maintain smooth workflow during service. Minimize waste and contribute to efficient kitchen operations.
