Job Description

  • Cooking and preparation: Prepare and cook various Chinese dishes according to recipes, using techniques like stir-frying, steaming, and wok cooking.
  • Ingredient management: Inspect ingredients for freshness, prepare components by chopping and washing, and manage inventory to ensure proper stock levels.
  • Quality and presentation: Ensure all dishes meet high standards for taste, consistency, and presentation, including garnishing and plating.
  • Kitchen maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area, equipment, and utensils in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Teamwork and leadership: Follow instructions from senior chefs, and for more senior roles, supervise and delegate tasks to other kitchen staff.
