Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook a wide variety of Chinese dishes (fried rice, noodles, gravies, starters, soups, etc.). Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control. Maintain kitchen hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness at all times. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and coordinate with the manager for procurement. Train and supervise kitchen helpers or junior chefs as needed. Handle food prep efficiently during rush hours without compromising quality. Innovate and contribute to menu development with seasonal or special dishes. Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly. Follow all safety and sanitation standards as per FSSAI guidelines. Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chinese Chef or Cook. Deep knowledge of Chinese cooking styles—stir-fry, wok cooking, steaming, etc. Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced kitchen. Team player with good communication and organizational skills. Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays. Basic knowledge of kitchen inventory and food cost control is a plus.
