Location: New Delhi Job Brief: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Placement Officer with an extensive background in the aviation industry to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 10 years of top-level experience within the aviation sector and a robust network of industry contacts to effectively facilitate the placements of our students in various roles within the aviation field. Responsibilities Utilize extensive knowledge and expertise in the aviation industry to establish and maintain relationships with key industry players, including airlines, aviation service providers, regulatory bodies, and other relevant stakeholders. Develop and execute placement strategies tailored to individual student career goals, ensuring a high rate of successful placements. Act as a liaison between our educational institution and the aviation industry, maintaining constant communication and networking to identify placement opportunities for students. Provide guidance and mentorship to students, offering insights into the industry, CV/resume building, interview techniques, and career development. Manage and maintain a database of industry contacts, job openings, and student placement progress. Organize Campus Interviews, industry events, and networking sessions to enhance opportunities for student placements. Collaborate with the institution’s Acadmeic team to develop and deliver workshops, seminars, and training programs that enhance students' employability within the aviation sector. Skills Required A minimum of 10 years of high-level experience in the aviation industry, with a comprehensive understanding of various aviation sectors, including but not limited to airlines, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) and regulatory bodies. Proven track record in establishing and maintaining a vast network of industry contacts that can be leveraged for student placements. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, industry professionals, and internal stakeholders. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Adept at career coaching, resume building, and interview preparation for individuals seeking placement opportunities. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; additional certifications or qualifications in career counseling or HR are advantageous. Show more Show less
