Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will have a pivotal role in defining the technical direction of the company, overseeing engineering teams, managing client projects, and ensuring the evolution of our technology stack in line with industry trends. You will be responsible for striking a balance between hands-on technical leadership, strategic planning, and effective people management. As the CTO, your key responsibilities will include: Technical Leadership: - Defining the technology roadmap to align with business objectives and client requirements. - Leading the architecture, design, and development of web and mobile applications. - Ensuring the scalability, performance, and security of all client and internal projects. - Staying abreast of emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks pertinent to web and app development. Project & Delivery Management: - Overseeing multiple concurrent client projects across diverse industries and technology stacks. - Collaborating with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery. - Driving code quality, CI/CD practices, version control, and QA processes. Team Building & Culture: - Mentoring and leading a team of developers, tech leads, and designers. - Cultivating a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven engineering culture. - Recruiting top tech talent and establishing structured onboarding and growth plans. Client & Business Collaboration: - Working closely with sales, pre-sales, and business teams to assess technical feasibility and provide accurate estimations. - Engaging in client meetings to provide technical insights and build trust. - Translating client requirements into robust technical solutions. Preferred Tech Stack Exposure: - Frontend: React, Angular, Vue.js - Backend: Node.js, PHP (Laravel), Python (Django/Flask), .NET - Mobile: Flutter, React Native, Kotlin, Swift - DevOps & Tools: AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins - Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase - Project Management Tools: JIRA, Trello, Asana Requirements: - Previous experience as a CTO, Tech Head, or Senior Engineering Manager in a service-based company. - Profound understanding of full-stack development and software development life cycles (SDLC). - Proficiency in hands-on coding with in-depth knowledge in at least one backend and frontend framework. - Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Nice to Have: - Prior experience in building scalable SaaS products or internal tools. - Exposure to UI/UX workflows and client communication. - Experience in coordinating offshore/onshore teams.
