Chief Security Officer (CSO) Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned and vigilant Chief Security Officer (CSO) to lead and manage the security and safety framework across all campuses. The CSO will be responsible for ensuring a secure and safe environment for students, staff, visitors, and assets, while aligning with school policies and statutory regulations. Key Responsibilities: Campus Security Oversight: Design, implement, and monitor security protocols across all school campuses to ensure a safe and secure learning environment. Team Leadership & Training: Lead the security team, including guards and surveillance staff. Conduct regular training, drills, and awareness sessions on emergency preparedness and safety protocols. Surveillance & Monitoring: Oversee and review CCTV operations, access control systems, perimeter security, and visitor management systems. Crisis & Emergency Response: Establish and execute emergency response plans for fire, medical emergencies, natural disasters, or external threats. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all security measures are in compliance with local laws, CBSE norms, and school policies. Maintain incident reports and audit logs. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and local authorities. Work closely with school leadership and administration for smooth coordination. Risk Assessment: Conduct periodic security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability analysis to proactively address potential threats. Candidate Profile: Education: Bachelors degree in Security Management, Criminology, or related field. Preference for candidates with a military or law enforcement background. Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and decision-making ability Familiarity with surveillance and access control systems Excellent crisis management and communication skills Discretion, integrity, and a child-centric mindset Experience: Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in a leadership security role; experience in educational institutions is an added advantage.
