Chief Product and Technology Officer

As the Founding Head of Product & Technology for a confidential early-stage SaaS platform, your role will involve leading engineering, product, design, and AI development. You will need to blend deep technical expertise with a strong product vision to build complex systems from scratch, ensuring reliability, accuracy, and security. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the entire product lifecycle, including research, requirement analysis, flow mapping, specifications, prototypes, and deployment. - Translate complex, rule-based domain workflows into simple and structured digital user journeys. - Architect the full SaaS platform, including frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure. - Integrate AI components for tasks such as classification, extraction, summarization, reasoning support, and workflow optimization. - Implement secure architecture, encryption, access control, auditing mechanisms, activity logs, and data integrity systems. - Design user journeys that support multi-role usage and complex workflows in a clean and structured manner. - Recruit and mentor engineers, designers, AI specialists, and analysts. - Define long-term product and technology roadmaps, collaborating directly with the founding team. Qualifications Required: - Technical experience of 5 to 12+ years in full-stack engineering and product leadership, preferably in SaaS, workflow-heavy systems, or AI-driven applications. - Strong expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and API-first development. - Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, Firebase, or Azure. - Experience designing Firestore, PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar database structures. - Experience deploying AI features into production, including embeddings, vector search, LLM pipelines, and document parsers. - Strong understanding of secure system design, encryption, access control, and compliance-aware architectures. - Product and design skills, including UX thinking, structured workflow design, and proficiency with Figma. - Ability to convert complicated domain logic into simplified, reliable digital flows. - Leadership skills, including founder-level ownership, ability to operate in fast-moving early-stage environments, cross-functional communication, and the ability to build teams from the ground up.
