Chief Operating Officer

Strategy, Vision and Leadership :

• Serve as Profit center head for the overall operation (production, quality, engineering, P&A, stores, excise, plant accounts) of RKT To oversee, direct and organize the work of all teams @ plant.
• At the direction of the Board of Directors, marshaling limited resources to the most productive uses with the aim of creating maximum value for the companys stakeholders.
• Advise the Directors and other key members of Senior Management on Operations, Budgeting, Investment priorities, New Product development, Policy matters, Financial Planning.
• Effectively derive long and short term
• To ensure that all the raw materials are issued to Production Department only after necessary inspection and tests are done and released by lab.
• To ensure that all the inspection, measuring and test equipment used in Quality Control Department are calibrated before validity for the same gets expired.

  Role & responsibilities

(RACE) form and present to CFO and Directors for approval. On approval of such expenditure to ensure required targeted results are achieved and return on investment is achieved as projected.

• Mentoring, coaching and facilitating key talent within the organization. Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and commitment to quality.
• Identify and impact training programs and retreats to expand the capacity of all staff. Ensure staff members receive timely and appropriate training and development.
• Creating pipeline of talent: influencing attraction and retention. Setting up business continuity management. Plan, identify and train second level leadership at all levels with a clear road map.
• Continuously enforce the value system of the company (eg. Leading by motivation and engagement, walk the talk).
• Aligning resources and talent management agenda.
• Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, monitor and evaluate results, conduct performance appraisals.
• Implement appropriate reward and recognition models in line of budget and revenue generation.
• Maintaining and monitoring staffing, expectations and motivation to fulfill organizational requirements.
• To be present at HO for full day on a fixed day once a week for development activities.
• Accountability of the effective implementation of IATF/EMS systems across the organization. To ensure Quality policy objectives are accomplish with direction & context of organization.

Operations:

• Lead, direct and monitor every aspect of manufacturing with strong cross functional leadership.
• Optimizing operations performance and increasing operational agility
• Improving contribution of support functions to operations.
• Aligning resources and finding synergies within operations
• Delivering significant cost efficiencies
• Emphasizing and creating importance of process management.
• Implementing operating systems, establishing and implementing operating policies, directives, procedures and KPIs to support corporate strategy.
• Discovering & supporting growth opportunities for the business by studying market and competition, based on the analysis developing new products, expanding current product lines in coordination with Sales Team leading to better customer satisfaction and business. (Setting up business continuity management).
• Support brand management and creating of reputation by delivering products and service of highest quality.
• To visit Trade Fair every alternate year to understand market and customer requirements and expectations in terms of pricing, quality, product requirement, etc.
• Spearhead the expansion projects
• Monitor, comply and control inventories/stock asper legal and accounting books.
• Maintain and enhance quality, safety and client satisfaction.
• Ensuring at all times all required legal/statutory compliances as per the applicable industry standards.
