Role Objective :

The Chief of Staff is a pivotal leadership role designed to amplify the effectiveness of the CEO. This is not a conventional support role but a strategic enabler of execution, organizational alignment, and leadership impact.

You will serve as the CEO's closest business partner, ensuring that Altellect's bold vision is translated into measurable outcomes. You will drive strategic initiatives, oversee cross-functional alignment, manage high-priority projects, and act as a trusted advisor in decision-making. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, balances strategic foresight with operational discipline, and possesses the executive presence to represent the CEO both internally and externally. In addition, the role requires strong commercial acumen and familiarity with emerging technologies and AI-driven ecosystems, enabling oversight of tech stack choices and ensuring ROI-driven execution across ventures.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Executive Support

• Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, supporting decision-making, strategic reviews, and board/ investor communications.
• Prepare and manage CEO's briefing documents, dashboards, and key reports for leadership and stakeholders.
• Track strategic priorities, ensuring alignment across ventures and enabler functions.

Program & Portfolio Management

• Oversee end-to-end execution of multi-product venture portfolio; manage timelines, interdependencies, and risks.
• Implement program management discipline across ventures to ensure delivery within scope, time, and budget.
• Monitor venture milestones and highlight course corrections proactively to leadership.

Technology & Program Alignment

• Bridge business leadership with technical teams, translating CEO's strategic goals into actionable execution plans.
• Possess working knowledge of AI/ ML stacks, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/ Azure/ GCP).
• Demonstrate understanding of the software development lifecycle (Agile, Scrum, QA, DevOps) to align program tracking with engineering realities.
• Ensure product and technology initiatives remain aligned with Altellect's venture creation roadmap.

Commercial & ROI Ownership

• Evaluate project ROI, ensuring resources are allocated effectively across ventures.
• Apply strong commercial acumen to budgeting, forecasting, and P&L considerations.
• Track operational efficiencies and ensure ventures deliver measurable financial and strategic returns.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Partner with fractional CXOs (CFO, CTO, CHRO, etc.) and enabling functions to align execution with strategic goals.
• Coordinate with Group CPO and Venture CPOs to ensure product lines are prioritized and resourced appropriately.
• Serve as liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and accountability.

You are an ideal candidate if you have:

• 3 - 6+ years in top-tier consulting (strategy, operations, org design, PMO).
• Strong aptitude for structured problem solving, business modelling, and stakeholder management.
• Experience running cross-functional workstreams and exec-level presentations.
• Experience working inside a venture studio, accelerator, incubator, or early-stage startup.
• Exposure to 0?1 venture creation, idea validation, market research, pilot structuring, and team formation.
• Ability to operate across multiple verticals or venture concepts simultaneously.
• Background in product operations, program management, or Chief of Staff roles in high-growth tech companies.
• Comfortable working with AI/ Tech teams, understanding product lifecycle, and reducing operational friction.
