Chief Manager- Substation- Design

As a Civil Structural Design Engineer specializing in Substation Designing, your responsibilities will include: - Studying tender documents and preparing technical queries. - Preparing the Bill of Quantity for structures and civil works for tender estimates. - Reviewing design calculations of support structures and foundations for substation equipment. - Reviewing design and details of gantry structures and foundations. - Reviewing design and details of earth retaining structures. - Understanding and reviewing soil investigation reports, discussing geotechnical aspects with Geotech consultants/clients. - Providing necessary inputs to draftsperson and reviewing civil drawings of various structures. - Being well-versed with IS Codes, EURO Codes, American codes, and experience in international projects. - Having expertise in seismic design and detailing of buildings and other structures. - Reviewing detailed structural and fabrication drawings. - Preparing detailed BOQ of civil items. - Issuing drawings to site/client. - Providing technical support during project execution and commissioning. - Collecting site data through site visits. Qualifications required for this role: - BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering and ME/M.Tech in Structure. - Minimum of 10+ years of experience as a Civil Structural Design Engineer, with at least 5 years of experience in Substation Designing.,
