Chief Financial Officer (CFO)(Surat)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations, drive performance, and support sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will bring over two decades of progressive finance experience, including executive leadership, financial planning, capital markets, and enterprise risk management. The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial vision and strategy, and in partnering with the CEO and senior leadership to deliver long-term value to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership

• Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team on financial, operational, and organizational issues.
• Lead the development and execution of financial strategy to support the company's overall objectives.
• Advise the Board of Directors on financial planning, investment priorities, and policy matters.

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Oversee the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Lead performance analysis to drive operational efficiency and business insights.
• Establish financial and operational KPIs to measure and improve company performance.

Capital Management

• Optimize capital structure, manage cash flow, and ensure effective treasury operations.
• Lead capital raising efforts (debt and equity), including investor relations and presentations.
• Evaluate M&A opportunities, lead due diligence, and integrate acquisitions.

Accounting, Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
• Oversee internal and external financial reporting and ensure timely and accurate submissions.
• Liaise with auditors, regulators, and other financial institutions.

Risk Management & Governance

• Establish and maintain robust internal controls, compliance, and enterprise risk management systems.
• Champion ethical financial practices and corporate governance.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing finance, accounting, legal, and procurement teams.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA or Master’s preferred).
• CPA, CFA, or equivalent financial certification is highly desirable.
• 20–25 years of progressive finance leadership experience, with at least 10 years in executive roles.
• Proven track record in complex financial environments, including capital markets, M&A, global finance, and strategic planning.
