Job Description

Lead and manage a team of Structural designCoordinators, providing guidance, mentorship, and training.

Foster a collaborative work environment to enhanceproductivity and morale within the team.
Oversee the development of career growth plans forteam members and encourage professional development.
Coordinate with other departments (e.g.,Architecture, MEP, Project Management, Site) to ensure alignment on projectgoals and timelines.

TechnicalSkills:

Provide leadership in the planning and execution ofstructural design projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to projectscope, budget, and quality standards.
Engage with clients to understand projectrequirements and provide expert advice on structural design matters.
Collaborate with Design Coordinators to allocateresources and track project progress. ensuring cost-effective use of resourceswhile maintaining high standards of design quality.
Review the works of Internal Team Member ensuringdesigns comply with relevant codes, regulations, and client specifications.
Lead the design process for complex or high-profileprojects, providing innovative solutions to challenging engineering problems.
Ensure the use of industry-standard software andtechnologies for structural analysis and design.
Manage and mitigate risks associated with designerrors or omissions and ensure that designs meet budget and scheduleexpectations.
Oversee the preparation of reports, specifications,and documentation required for regulatory approvals.
Drive continuous improvement in structural designprocesses, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
Keep up to date with industry trends, newtechnologies, and best practices, and integrate these into the organizationsdesign processes.
Encourage the adoption of innovative andcost-effective design solutions.

Software:

Good Knowledge of structural design software e.g., ETABS,SAFE, STAAD, Prokon, SAP, RAM Concept
BIM : Exposure to 3D Software like Revit /Navisworks / AutoCAD will be an addedadvantage
