Senior Designer - Civil

Job responsibilities:

We are looking for a Civil-Draftsman to carry out the drafting for civil and steel structures in our Bio- CBG projects. As a civil engineer, designing and planning project details & to ensure that structures are safe and strong.

To succeed in this role, candidate should have hands-on experience using several constructions methods and materials and advanced knowledge of AutoCAD & other computer aided software.

General Compliance and Improvements:

1. Comply with all the Health and Safety regulatory site rules and requirements at all times

2. Responsible for own Health and safety and that of others who may be affected by work.

3. Request information necessary to perform the task efficiently as possible and stop work if not in compliance with the standard practices and procedures.

4. Support the business with procedures and required compliance.

Draftsman, Civil & structural Requirements:

1. Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.

2. Knowledge of IS Standards, Codes & specifications.

3. Sound understanding of physics and mathematics.

4. Ability to liaise with professionals from other disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical & Instrumentation)

5. Three-dimensional conceptual skills.

6. Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.

7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

9. Good communication and IT skills.

10. Ability to take independent decisions at critical situations.

11. Experience in AutoCAD & plant 3D

Candidate Profile:

• Diploma in civil or ITI draftsman course with minimum 6 to 10 years experience.
