• Lead diagnostic and interventional bronchoscopies, including BAL, EBUS, and transbronchial biopsies.
• Manage in-patient and ICU cases of COPD, asthma, ILD, pulmonary infections, and sleep apnea.
• Interpret imaging, PFT, and arterial blood gas reports, integrating findings into care plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary tumor boards and pre-operative pulmonary optimization.
• Guide respiratory therapists in ventilator strategies, weaning, and NIV protocols.
• Train junior doctors and nurses on airway management, emergency procedures, and infection control.
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• DM/DNB in Pulmonary Medicine with valid MCI registration.
• 5+ years independent bronchoscopy and critical care experience.
• Hands-on skills in EBUS, cryotherapy, and thoracoscopy.
• Competence in ICU ventilation, arterial line insertion, and central venous access.
• Ability to read HRCT, CT-thorax, and PET scans for respiratory pathologies.
• Strong communication for patient education and multidisciplinary liaison.
  

Preferred

• Fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology or Critical Care.
• Research publications or conference presentations in chest medicine.
• Proficiency with EMR and hospital information systems.
