About the Role

St. Stephen’s School, Keorapukur, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Chemistry Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop a strong understanding and appreciation for Chemistry through engaging lessons, hands-on experiments, and innovative teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver well-structured Chemistry lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
• Prepare and implement lesson plans, practical demonstrations, and lab experiments to enhance conceptual understanding.
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate students’ academic progress through tests, assignments, and examinations.
• Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
• Encourage students’ curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Provide extra academic support to students when needed and maintain open communication with parents.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school events.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field (B.Ed preferred).
• Proven experience as a Chemistry Teacher in a school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach both theoretical and practical aspects of Chemistry.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to integrate technology and innovative teaching methods.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
